Stephen was born in Queens, New York, and was raised in the Christian Faith while attending Day Star Church of Christ of the Apostolic Faith. Stephen was licensed to preach at 19 years old by Bishop Clinton L. Heyward. His pastoral journey began in July 2010 as senior pastor at Rehoboth Church in Pleasantville, NJ. His nearly thirteen years of pastoring proved to be the training ground for future assignments.

His professional occupational career began as a middle school guidance counselor. In his first year as a guidance counselor, Hilton was honored to receive the Educational Service Professional (ESP) of the Year award.
Hilton holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Thomas Edison State University. Following his undergraduate studies, Hilton moved into graduate studies, completing a Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling: Leadership from Liberty University in 2016. That same year, Hilton was enrolled at Wilmington University, completing the program in 2019 with a Master of Education in School Counseling. He did not stop there. In 2018, while completing his Master of Education program, Hilton returned to Liberty University to pursue his final degree. In 2022, Hilton completed his doctoral program with a Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Studies.

Dr. Hilton has a passion for Ministry and Souls. He loves to witness and desires to see lives transformed and living out their divine purpose. Dr. Hilton does not take anything that God has bestowed him with lightly. He considers life an honor and is grateful to be called a servant!
